This is an exciting step in your business as this is where you will share your story and share the links for products!!! (You can also share from your MOBILE APP)
This is also where you will sign new members up!!
First things first!!! You will need a SMILING CLOSE-UP picture of you!!!! Preferably from the waist or shoulders up!!!! No children or dogs or family in the picture. Although we are super proud of our family, people want to SEE US!!! They want to STOP when they see you while they're scrolling through social media!!!
Today's cameras are GREAT!!! So, no need to pay a professional photographer unless you want to or already have a professional picture!!!!

When you became a member of the Shaklee family, Shaklee sent you an email with all your training material.

PRINT and READ ONLY the Getting Started Right Onboarding below for new Ambassadors. Once you have completed reading through this training material, contact your ambassador who invited into the Shaklee Family within 30 hours and set up a Getting Started Right Call.

In this call you will discuss your WHY, your VISION, your GOALS, and how many HOURS per week you will commit to your business
​
COMPLETE the "First 30-day Action Plan" on page 18 of the Getting Started Right Guide and write out a rough draft of your WHY, GOALS, TIME, COMMITMENT and GETTING GOING!!!

HOUSEKEEPING - Print the DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM below and fill out and fax or email/scan back to Shaklee so you will be able to get paid daily. (If you do not have direct deposit, your daily pay will be in your regular paycheck on the 15th of the month

Day 3

The next step you're going to do is a create a list of 20-30 people - The top 5 people should be the people that would bring you chicken noodle soup if you were sick.

These are YOUR people. Your friends, your family, your co-workers, etc.

Print the Memory Jogger attached and print YOUR PERSONAL LIST and start writing!!! If you're REALLY looking to build a big business, add 101 people!!! Our brain functions better with odd numbers.

This is a fun and exciting journey and there is no better way to start, than inviting them along!!! They'll be proud of you, and they'll be happy for you! DO NOT DISCRIMINATE!! Trust me when I say you NEVER know who wants a product or the business!! You'd be surprised!!

HOUSEKEEPING - Download the Shaklee Share App and the Shaklee Connect App on your phone. This is where you will share the Meology Assessment and all your other social medial reels, etc.

Announce your business and schedule grand opening
Day 4

GRAND OPENING!!!
Contact your UPLINE and schedule your Grand Opening Date!!! This will be for the people you have NOT been able to connect with yet or sign up yet.
This should be done within 2 weeks of starting Shaklee. Again, we want to see you getting your daily and monthly bonuses ASAP!!!
This can be an At-Home Grand Opening with all the fanfare (food, drinks, shakes, Shaklee products, and even facials) or it can be done in a 20-minute ZOOM!!! This is your business, so you get to do it however you want to!!! These days most people like quick ZOOMS but some people love an IN-HOME party too. You will know your people best!!
Print up cute invitations in CANVA or any other app and send them to as many people as you would like to see come!! (Or just reach out on the phone and invite them) The more you invite, the better chances of many orders and introducing lots of people to Shaklee! These should be your closest friends and the Top 5 who would bring you chicken noodle soup!!

Reach out to people who commented
Day 5

RESPOND to all the likes or comments. (Again, if you're unsure how to respond, contact your business sponsor). Take your conversation over to DIRECT MESSAGE. Never have in depth conversations on the feed. **Refer to how to respond on page 6 of the Getting Started Right Guide.
Seek help from your BUSINESS SPONSOR if needed!! If they can't help with social media, someone in our Shaklee business family can!!
Here are some additional things you can say when responding to people's likes or comments:
Hey lady (or friend) or whatever is your personality. Thank you so much for the like/love and popping in on my post. I am sooo excited to be starting a new business adventure. I'm very passionate about improving my health and helping other people find true wellness. Your support means a lot. How is your day going?
Continue the conversation when they respond and be genuine. Have a few conversations back and forth then you can say the following:
"I'm trying to get some people together so we can all support each other and have fun as we focus on our wellness. I'm trying to reach as many people as I can because it's this company's mission and mine to bring true wellness to the world and change sick care to well care. I listen to people's needs and guide them towards better health. Would it be ok if I send you some information on this company/products to see if you have any interest in either better health, or getting healthier and earning money while doing it?
**PRINT THE "CHEAT SHEET - THINGS TO SAY" FOR ALL KINDS OF THINGS TO SAY FOUND IN ONE SIMPLE DOCUMENT
**PRINT THE ACTIVITY TRACKER WORKBOOK BELOW AND SKIP TO THE LAST 2 PAGES IN THE APPENDIX FOR ADDITIONAL THINGS TO SAY. DO NOT READ THIS ENTIRE PACKET. YOU WILL BE CONFUSED. WE WILL GO THROUGH THIS IN DEPTH LATER
H - Help them get information!
Once they've said yes, send them the 9 minute video via EMAIL and invite them into our Happy Healthy You FB page where they can also access it there. In my email I say something like this:
"Thank you so much for watching this video. It's super important to me that you trust ME, and you trust this company. Happy viewing and we will chat soon!! "
Or if you choose to, you can send the Shaklee E-Booklet and 2 minute video located in your MOBILE SHAKLEE SHARE APP. (In the last step, your sponsor should have shown you how to send info from the MOBILE SHAKLEE SHARE APP)
You will also send them the MEOLOGY assessment to their phone, email or messenger. This will take all the guesswork out of what they should be taking. This is customized to the information that they enter, and they want to see improvements in Please make sure when you send this to them you say "PLEASE CLICK SHARE WITH ME BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS. I WILL NOT SEE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU ENTERED, JUST THE RECOMMENDATIONS SHAKLEE HAS MADE FOR YOU"
TIP: NEVER leave a conversation without getting a date and time to follow up. Once you've reached out to them, ask them what a good time to follow back up with them is. If they say a couple days say "Great, I have Tuesday available. Is the morning or afternoon better? If they say afternoon say "Great, I have a 2:00 or 3:00 available, which is better for you? When they pick, THEY have now scheduled the time and date and you don't have to feel bad or feel like you're bugging them because THEY set the date and time
Make sure you follow up EXACTLY when you said you would. It is not our business to be late or not follow through:) We provide EXEMPLARY customer service!!

Calling is always the BEST way because they can hear the excitement in your voice. It's my recommendation you get used to calling people early on. However, if you're too nervous to do that, you can send a text or a message/voice message on messenger. Refer to page 7 of the Getting Started Right Guide for 2 sample conversations or invite them to your GRAND OPENING which we will discuss in your NEXT STEP.
The KEY to the above 2 steps is to SHARE YOUR EXCITEMENT and then HELP get them information (The Ready Set Wellness Information)
H - Help them get information!

A - Follow up on the date and time you agreed upon and then follow the script in the FOLLOW UP QUESTIONAIRRE below - Please PRINT. Ask them to get started. Tell them you can either sign them up now while you're speaking, or they can follow the email link in the email that Shaklee sent them for their Meology Assessment.

R - Remind them of their WHY after you have gone through the FOLLOW UP QUESTIONAIRRE before you ask them to get started. You will have a great idea of where they are lacking if you repeat what they said they were struggling with. It's not uncommon for people to have questions. Don't get flustered. It's ok to not know everything and they will respect your honesty. Simply tell them you don't know the answer to that question, and you'll get back to them asap. Then call them back with the answer and then ask if they're ready to get started!
E - Extra Income/Earn a STAR CLUB BONUS!! When you close the sale, you'll ask them if they would like to be a member of this incredible family and use our products, if they would like to REFER people and get 10.00 off for every person they refer or would like an additional stream of income and make extra monthly income. It's important to get the people THEY know as you will usually find someone in that referral line who wants extra income.
If they are a YES for the business, schedule a 3 way call with your UPLINE. Pick a time that's good for you, the new ambassador and your upline.
***If they say no to the business, say something like, "I totally get that this is not for you, Maggie. It’s not for everyone. But I’d love to pick your brain about your network, since I have a feeling you likely know some people I could help.
Do you have another minute or two so I can describe exactly who I’m looking for and we’ll see who’s names pop into your head?
“Here’s what I’m looking for” **The first person you say is the person you’re talking to. If it’s a teacher say, “Here’s what I’m looking for. I love teachers because they’re so good at being coachable and teaching others to do this really simple business. Teachers love making more money because they’re under paid and they love having the option down the road to spend more time with their own kids rather than other people’s. Plus, this business is a great insulation from a pink slip.
OR.....“Here’s what I’m looking for…I absolutely love working with stay at home moms who need flexibility with their kids, but really need an extra stream of income. It’s possible to grow a lucrative business while still being a hands-on-mom.
OR...Here’s what I’m looking for..I love offering this to corporate moms that are tied to the hamster wheel. I also love working with entrepreneurial couples who are successful and might want to add another stream of income to their profession portfolio.
If they can’t come up with people right away say “It might be hard for you to think of people right now. Would it be helpful if I sent you a brief email summarizing what we talked about and exactly who I’m looking for? You’ll be able to easily forward it to anybody you think of and copy me in on it.

DON'T WORRY, YOU MAY NOT UNDERSTAND ALL OF THIS RIGHT NOW, BUT YOUR SPONSOR WILL BE DOING 3 WAY CALLS WITH YOUR NEW PEOPLE SO YOU WILL NOT BE DOING THIS ALONE. YOUR SPONSOR WILL HELP YOU DO THE WORK INITIALLY AND GUIDE YOU ON HOW TO DO ALL OF THIS. WE ARE A TEAM!! AND YOU WON'T BE ALONE UNTIL YOU'RE COMFORTABLE BEING ALONE!! YOU WILL LEARN QUICKLY HOWEVER.
